Schools of Hope Volunteer Tutors Needed!
29th Application deadline:
In just one hour per week, United Way Schools of Hope volunteers help local students in Burlington and Racine become more confident, capable readers.
Interested in becoming a tutor? Here’s some important information you should know:
- Tutoring takes place during the school day, October-May.
- Each tutor works one-on-one with two students.
- Busy volunteers are encouraged to partner with a friend or colleague to become a tutor team and share a tutoring assignment.
- No previous experience is needed – All of the training and resources you need to be successful will be provided!
All volunteers must complete an application, pass a background check completed by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department and attend tutor training.
